The Montreal Comics Festival (FBDM) has unveiled the programming for its 12th edition with more than 60 free activities offered around the theme “Creation: from imagination to reality”.

For the second year in a row, the FBDM will be held on rue Saint-Denis, from May 26 to 28. Note that the street will be pedestrianized for the occasion between Gilford and Roy streets, in order to install the kiosks and allow the public to move around.

The festival will welcome more than 250 cartoonists from Quebec, Canada and elsewhere. Among the guests, note the presence of Martin Panchaud, who won the Fauve d’or at the Angoulême Festival for The Color of Things, authors Aisha Franz and Dorothée de Monfreid as well as Manuele Fior, Fábio Moon and Gabriel Bá, the latter having illustrated the series The Umbrella Academy whose television adaptation is broadcast on Netflix.

The event is free.
