After the success of the fiction Le Bazar de la Charité, Audrey Fleurot, Camille Lou and Julie de Bona return on September 19 in the series Les Combattantes by Alexandre Laurent. For this mini-series, actress Sofia Essaïdi also joins the cast which features “women as strong as they are diverse in the context of the First World War”, reports TF1 in its press release.

The fiction transports us to September 1914 in a small village in eastern France, near the German border. “Four women find themselves thrown into the heart of the horror: Marguerite (Audrey Fleurot), a mysterious and flamboyant Parisian prostitute who is suspected of being a spy; Caroline (Sofia Essaïdi), wife of Victor Dewitt, owner of a car factory, gone to the front”. The actress Julie de Bona plays a mother superior of a convent “requisitioned and transformed into a military hospital (…) As for Suzanne (Camille Lou), a young feminist nurse, she has been on the run since an abortion that went wrong”.
