Leïla Kaddour-Boudadi in tears on the JT: why she was criticized

It’s a television sequence that made a lot of noise. This Sunday, November 20, 2022, the journalist and presenter of the 1 p.m. television news on France 2, Leïla Kaddour-Boudadi, announced the death of Pascal Josèphe, former director of the channel.

“There are news that we would never like to have to announce. We learned of the disappearance of Pascal Josèphe, a great gentleman of television. Former director of programs for France 2 and France 3. A great professional who contributed to launch many programs like “Taratata”, “Froufrou”, she said with tears in her eyes and to continue: “The President, Delphine Ernotte Cunci salutes this afternoon “a lord of public television”. He was 68 years old and we are thinking of his family, his children and his loved ones. This is the end of this edition. Thank you. Have a nice day”.

Pained by this disappearance, the journalist could not hide her sadness in the face of the viewers. On the web, the reactions were numerous. “You moved me so much Leila. A pure moment of humanity, zero calculation, it was overwhelming. Thoughts moved for you and those close to you” or “Leila Kadour was moving, what courage and professionalism despite her pain in announcing this sad news!”, can we read on Twitter.

However, other Internet users were more critical of him. It must be said that at the beginning of November, comedian Florence Mendez had revealed, on her social networks, to have been the victim of harassment “from a (very) close collaborator of Nagui”. This person would have “literally yelled at him, so violently that it (him) triggered a panic attack which required the intervention of the firefighters of Radio France”.

If the comedian has never publicly stated that it was the journalist Leïla Kaddour-Boudadi, some Internet users would have made the connection with the latter. They did not hesitate to criticize her on Twitter after attending her news yesterday at noon. “Too bad it falls when we discover that she was harassing Florence Mendez, autistic and that she dared to tell her that it was not her problem if she had a disorder and that she was too sensitive! Zero calculation? Indeed: so moved…”, wrote a user.

As reported by Le Parisien, Leïla Kaddour-Boudad did not wish to comment on the comedian’s remarks. His entourage denounces “slanderous and defamatory accusations”, “an attempt at manipulation” as well as “a publicity stunt” to put themselves on the front of the stage.
