Quebec leader Alain Louis has signed with the Montreal Alliance for a second season.

Louis is the second player, after Montreal winger Nathan Cayo, to join the team this season. Both were on the roster last season, the first in franchise history.

“Having the opportunity to represent my city on the field is something that I do not take lightly, reacted the principal concerned. I am more than ready to have a direct impact on team results and continue to contribute to the organization’s community programs. »

The Alliance had selected Alain Louis in the first round, second overall, in the 2022 U Sports LECB draft. A year earlier, the point guard had played for the Ottawa BlackJacks as a development player.

Last summer, the Port-au-Prince native averaged 6.3 points, 3.2 assists and 2.0 rebounds in 20 games (21.8 minutes played). Not to mention his 38% success rate from the three-point line.

The Alliance training camp will begin in two months, on May 18. The Montreal squad will play its first game eight days later, on May 26, against the Niagara River Lions at the Verdun Auditorium.
