This is information that all Koh-Lanta fans have been waiting for. Denis Brogniart, emblematic presenter of the show, dropped a clue on the date of return to the air of the flagship program of TF1. At Télé Star, the host of TF1 confirmed that we would not discover new adventurers in 2022.

“At the end of last season, as always, I got the Totem back. That will allow me to wait for the next shoot. It won’t be broadcast until early 2023, in particular because of the rich sports news for the start of the school year. 2022,” he told the magazine. And to add: “Before the Football World Cup, in November, I would present the Women’s Rugby World Cup in October. A first of which I am proud.”

Tuesday, June 21, the Koh-Lanta edition, Le totem maudit, which took place in the Philippines, crowned two winners, a first in the history of the show. François and Bastien therefore won this 23rd edition ex aequo. Coming respectively from the red and yellow teams, the two adventurers shared the 100,000 euros promised to the winner.

An unprecedented final which was not without displeasing to Bastien. “I am not at all disappointed to share this victory because François is someone with whom I share a lot of human values and the sporting side too. We immediately liked each other, we exchanged while going fishing together , by harpooning”, he confided to us after his victory.

Same reaction from François. “I was delighted with the outcome, to be able to win and share the victory with Bastien, who is a skilled adventurer,” assured the professional firefighter the day after his victory.

If this last season did not really convince viewers, the All Stars edition, broadcast at the end of 2021, had been marred by cheating. The program was supposed to celebrate its 20th anniversary with iconic adventurers, but it was their behavior that marked the show. Result: no candidate was crowned. “We made the decision with ALP to invalidate the result and not to award a title this year and not to give the 100,000 euros to the one who had the most votes, namely Claude”, declared Denis Brogniart on the Daily set, Wednesday, December 15, 2021.

Even if he had recognized “failures, moments of cheating”, the presenter had regretted that things took such a scale: “Ok there are people who ate, some who had food brought by fishermen, there are some who went out at night to the council, but on a world scale, it does not matter, even if on the scale of Koh-Lanta it is complicated.
