(Brussels) The Belgian team Soudal-Quick Step presented its jersey for the coming season on Friday in a video showing the Frenchman Julian Alaphilippe, very comfortable, dancing to a song by Céline Dion.
This twenty-second video posted on social networks shows the former double world champion wiggling to take off his jacket and reveal the new jersey, to the music of the hit It’s All Coming Back to Me Now.
The jersey remains fairly faithful to the colors of the 2023 model.
The video sparked many reactions, sometimes amused. Another Belgian team, Lotto-Dstiny tweeted: “Damn, we’re going to have to change ours (introductory song) with Patrick Bruel for our jersey reveal.”
Alaphilippe will wear his new tunic during the opening event of the season, the Tour Down Under (Australia), in which he has only participated once, in 2014.
