Defending Tour de France champion Jonas Vingegaard will remain with Jumbo-Visma until the conclusion of 2027, the team announced on Tuesday.
Vingegaard, who beat Tadej Pogacar for the Grande Boucle title last year, joined Jumbo-Visma in 2019. He agreed to a three-year contract extension.
Jumbo-Visma is one of the most prestigious teams in men’s road cycling. She relies in particular on the services of Primoz Roglic and Wout van Aert. Vingegaard will rely on them this summer in order to achieve his main goal for the season: to successfully defend his title in France.
The Tour de France will begin on July 1 in Bilbao, Spain.
