A controversial figure in the French audiovisual landscape. For many years, Jean-Marc Morandini has been a figure that viewers often find on their monitor. Télématin, Tout est possible, Crimes or today Morandini Live on the CNews news channel, the journalist has participated in numerous television programs.
Beyond the undeniable success of his shows, it is because of his setbacks with the law that the host has made a lot of noise about him.
Indeed, in December 2022, in the context of a trial for corruption of minors, the journalist was found “guilty of all the charges against him” by three men. “Despite the time that has elapsed, no questioning has been initiated” concerning these “transgressive acts” had then noted the president as reported by franceinfo, specifying that “it does not appear either from the file or from the debates that we can qualify Mr. Morandini as a predator or a pedophile”.
Jean-Marc Morandini was then sentenced to one year in prison with a probationary suspension of two years and an “obligation of care”. Despite this heavy sentence, the news channel explained to Le Parisien that “Jean-Marc Morandini appealed, the presumption of innocence applies. Jean-Marc Morandini continues to present his program on CNews”.
