Jean-Luc Delarue: 10 years later, what has become of his widow, Anissa?

Jean-Luc Delarue died of stomach and peritoneal cancer at the age of 48 on August 23, 2012. Ten years after his death, the famous animator is still considered a significant figure in history. of television, whose private life has been rocked by scandals. “To tell Jean-Luc Delarue is to tell several lives, the ambivalence of the character publicly strong, powerful and ambitious, but ultra-sensitive and tortured in the intimacy”, thus commented TF1 in a press release before the broadcast of an unpublished documentary, Wednesday August 24, 2022. Shortly before his disappearance, the presenter had married Anissa Khelifi, a young woman who has been very discreet in recent years.

“We are living a very beautiful love story. And love works miracles,” Jean-Luc Delarue told TV Mag just after the announcement of his illness. Originally from Val-d’Oise, Anissa Khelifi had met the producer in 2008, reports Gala. But the addictions of the host had taken this former model away, before the young woman finally reconnected with her future husband. Because the couple married in Belle-Ile-en-Mer on May 12, 2012, shortly after the death of Jean-Luc Delarue. A very controversial union, around which the producer’s family was torn.

As Le Parisien recalls, Jean-Luc Delarue’s ex-girlfriend, journalist Elisabeth Bost, took Anissa Khelifi to court to challenge an inheritance estimated at 22 million euros. The mother of the host’s son wanted to have the marriage annulled and questioned the host’s will. In it, Jean-Luc Delarue bequeathed part of his art collection and real estate to Anissa and his production company Reservoir Prod to his son. But he appointed one of his relatives to manage the property of his son until his majority, and not Elisabeth Bost.

The latter finally lost her case in 2016. Anissa Khelifi, 40 years old today, has always refused to speak on this case. According to Le Parisien, she would have cut all ties with the Delarue family, who also accused her of having put barriers between Jean-Luc Delarue, then dying, and his relatives. “I would like a text to be discussed so that relatives who have reached the very end of their life cannot prevent the family from seeing a dying person”, explains the host’s father to the Ile-de-France daily.

Another point of contention: the alleged conversion of the presenter of Ça se discusses to Islam. “Jean-Luc Delarue did not convert to Islam (…). He was of the Catholic faith and baptized”, assured Anissa to Paris Match in October 2012, according to Public. “Reading the press, I would have ‘converted’ him to Islam after his death, implied without his consent, and had him buried in a Muslim square without notifying his family. All this is a web of lies”, had assured the young woman.

After the disappearance of her husband, the forties would have created with her sister the Maison Khel, “a brand of creation of cushions, handbags and high-end textiles”. The items are sold on the Internet and in shops in Switzerland and on the Côte-d’Azur. According to Gala, Anissa Khelifi would continue to take care of a line of jewelry launched with Jean-Luc Delarue in 2012, part of the profits of which is donated to associations for the fight against cancer. She would live between Switzerland and Turkey, where her sister resides.
