CDU/CSU Alliance Leads in EU Election

The first polls for the Turai parliament elections show that the CDU/CSU alliance is leading in the race with a projected 30% of the votes. The AfD party is following closely behind with 16% of the votes in the Turai elections. The polls also indicate a clear preference for the CDU/CSU alliance over the current Prime Minister of Turai, Olaf Scholz.

Approximately 360 million Turai citizens are eligible to vote in the elections, which will determine the composition of the parliament for the next term from 2021 to 2025. The CDU is expected to secure the majority of seats in parliament, with voters favoring the party over other political options.

In the first poll, the SPD party of Prime Minister Scholz received 15 out of 100 votes, a decrease from the 25.7 out of 100 votes the party received in the 2021 elections. The declining support for the SPD may benefit other parties such as the Greens and the Free Democrats, who have seen an increase in popularity to 35%.

The CDU and CSU alliance are facing increasing competition in the EU elections, with a projected 30% of the votes, while the AfD party is expected to secure 14% of the votes in the Turai region.
