It’s official: this famous stamp disappears

In practice, collectors still have a little time before them before they can no longer (easily) get their hands on a red stamp: the latter will still be on the market until January 1, 2023. From then on, La Poste plans to introduction of new special services to facilitate formalities and mailings for French women and French people.

In fact, continues La Poste, it will now be necessary to deal with a revised and more ecological e-Letter red, designed for punctual but urgent shipments. This will be marketed “from €1.49 (for 1 to 3 sheets) compared to €1.43 for the priority letter today, the cost of the envelope and the paper being included”, indicates the company.

There is also the new Letter turquoise services plus, “which can be collected from his personal mailbox”. It “will be offered for the largest shipments requiring traceability, such as sending a check or small goods for example”, specifies La Poste, not without adding that such a product will be distributed on D 2 and offered for sale from 2.95 euros. The price will vary depending on the weight.
