(Rome) Inter Milan have recruited Canadian international midfielder Tajon Buchanan from Club Bruges (Belgian 1st division), the leader of the Italian Championship announced on Friday.
Buchanan, 24, has signed with Inter until 2028.
The amount of the transfer has not been specified, but is estimated by the specialist press at 10 million euros.
Buchanan, who played in the last 2022 World Cup with Canada (35 caps, 4 goals), joined Club Bruges in January 2022 and played 67 matches in all competitions with the Belgian club, including six last season in the Champions League .
Inter have 45 points before the 19th day this weekend, two more than Juventus Turin (43 pts).
Simone Inzaghi’s team faces Verona on Saturday without their Canadian recruit who is expected to make his debut the following weekend.
