A zeptosegundo is not a unit of time of these that we use on a daily basis. In fact, it is an interval so small that it is reserved to complex and lightning-fast reactions between subatomic particles. A zeptosegundo, in effect, is the thousand quadrillionth part of a second (10^-21 seconds). Or put another way, in a single second are a thousand trillion of zeptosegundos.
And now, a team of physicists americans and australians have been able, for the first time, of accurately calculating the speed to the happening of the nuclear reactions of more complex . And they discovered that are really fast, as much as to measure them in zeptosegundos.
