Improvements at Springfield Road and Spall Road Intersection

Beginning on Monday, June 10, there will be construction improvements taking place at the intersection of Springfield Road and Spall Road. This project is expected to last for approximately four weeks.

During this time, motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians should be aware of localized lane closures and may want to consider alternative routes if possible. The construction hours will be from Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the possibility of work outside of these hours on evenings and weekends to minimize disruptions to residents.

The improvements at the intersection will include extending the eastbound left turn lane on Springfield Road, adding a dedicated northbound right turn lane and northbound left turn lane on Spall Road, and enhancing the pedestrian letdowns and crosswalks in the area. Businesses in the vicinity will remain open and accessible, with safety personnel and signage in place to guide traffic.

The City of Kelowna is grateful for the public’s patience during this construction period and apologizes for any inconvenience caused. To stay informed about construction updates, events, or detours, visit kelowna.ca/roadreport.
