The least we can say is that it is hot. In France, the temperatures are so high that the main weather forecasting organization, Météo France, has placed dozens of departments on heat wave yellow vigilance and 7 on orange alert, as Planet recently explained. In the south of the country, it is so hot that the earth is burning. All in all, nearly 1,400 hectares went up in smoke in the Gironde. This Wednesday July 13, 2022 marked (theoretically, at the very least), the hottest day of the week. In some departments, the mercury could approach, if not exceed, 40 degrees Celsius.

In such weather, it therefore seems more than tempting to take a dip to cool off a bit. Unfortunately, this is an idea that many people might think of and the municipal swimming pool does not appeal to you. Do not panic ! There is a viable, immediate solution – more so than building a mini-pool, anyway! – and frugal. This is the inflatable pool. At Lidl, for example, it is marketed for less than 20 euros.

This summer, Lidl is selling an inflatable pool called “Family Pool”. This model, which can be purchased from 18.99 euros, indicates the specialized title Le Journal de la Maison. It is, our colleagues explain, “the business of the year”, mounted on two inflatable tubes equipped with plugs and a non-return valve separated from the rest. You can find it by following this link.

This type of swimming pool has an advantage comparable to the mini-pools previously mentioned in our columns: it does not represent any tax burden and does not require any particular procedures.
