Miss France has a new beauty queen in its ranks. This December 17, 2022 took place the 93rd edition of the Miss France beauty contest in Châteauroux, presented by the famous host Jean-Pierre Foucault and Sylvie Tellier. A special edition for the latter who will give way next year to Cindy Fabre under the direction of Alexia Laroche-Joubert, who has become president of the Miss France society. It was Sylvie Tellier, moved to tears, who finally bowed out after a standing ovation.

After a crazy competition, it is the sublime Indira Ampiot who succeeds Diane Leyre, elected Miss France 2022. Miss Guadeloupe, 18 years old, has just graduated from a baccalaureate with honors. “The competition is something that has always attracted me since my mother participated in this election in 1998 where she was elected first runner-up of Miss Guadeloupe”, she told The Link Fwi and added: ” It’s not something common to be in a car, to greet people and in return, they smile at me. It was a very nice experience.

During this new edition, several personalities responded. Comedian Francis Huster, who chaired the jury, was accompanied by judo champion Clarisse Agbegnenou, producer Dominique Besnehard, singer Kendji Girac and also former Miss Marine Lorphelin. The only shadow on the board, the singer Camille Lellouche who was absent “for reasons beyond her control”, as announced by Jean-Pierre Foucault. “Unfortunately, Camille Lellouche was forced to cancel her visit to the Miss France 2023 election”. The latter was replaced by the actress Bérangère Krief.

For this 93rd edition, the regional candidates paraded on various tables related to the cinema. Titanic, biopic of Elton John, Harry Potter, Alice in Wonderland… The sets and costumes of the Misses dazzled the members of the jury who haven’t lost a beat.
