This Friday, November 4, France 3 will broadcast the first issue of Immediate Boarding at 9:10 p.m. The concept of the show? Patrick Fiori will offer viewers the opportunity to discover the songs of Corsican heritage with fifteen artists and musical groups in new and revisited versions. Among the prestigious guests, we will find in particular Patrick Bruel, Jenifer, Claudio Capéo, Christophe Willem, Chimène Badi, Claire Keim, Bénabar, Kendji Girac or even Soprano. The latter will offer a full-bodied getaway with local singers and groups such as Antoine Ciosi, Clément Albertini, Jean-Charles Papi, Francine Massiani, Christophe Mondolini or Canta U Populu Corsu.

Patrick Fiori told TV Magazine that he is the initiator of the concept of this program: “I had the idea of this show that follows the two albums Corsu Mezu Mezu, where titles from the Corsican repertoire are interpreted in a duet by an insular artist and another from the continent”. The concert was shot in mid-October in the setting of the green theater of Casone, in Ajaccio.

Born in Marseille to an Armenian father and a Corsican mother, the 53-year-old singer lived a large part of his childhood on the island of Beauty. Although he has traveled the whole world, Patrick Fiori is viscerally too attached to Corsica, his “place of stainless resource”. A destination that he does not leave even to go on vacation. “It’s there that I feel like I exist,” he said in the “Place(s) à” column on France Bleu.
