(London) Injured in early February in a knee, the former French international goalkeeper Hugo Lloris resumed training with Tottenham on Thursday, announced the English club.
“Hugo is back with the team,” Spurs tweeted on their official account, above a photo of the 36-year-old goalkeeper performing a save.
Lloris was injured at the very end of the 1-0 win against Manchester City on February 5 after an aerial duel with defensive midfielder Rodri.
Without their titular goalkeeper and captain, Tottenham had a very mediocre series with four defeats for three wins and two draws, being eliminated in the round of 16 of the Champions League by AC Milan (0-1, 0-0) and in the round of 16 of the FA Cup by Sheffield United (D2).
These disappointing results caused Spurs to part ways with manager Antonio Conte last Sunday.
Currently fourth in the Premier League and last virtual qualifier for the Champions League, they will have to work hard to stay in the top 4.
