60 Million consumers recently studied twelve toothpastes. According to them, three toothpastes stand out for their harmfulness. Among the latter we can find the “Sanogyl gum care with vitamin complex” which contains potentially irritating products with carcinogenic contents. We also find the “Pure breath signal” which is composed of an allergenic preservative for some people, and other harmful products. The last toothpaste is the “Diamond Enamel Charcoal”, enemy of dentists, the amount of charcoal contained in this toothpaste deteriorates the dental enamel. If you have one of its toothpastes, don’t throw it away: keep it for cleaning!

If you want to make your own homemade toothpaste, all you need to do is mix white clay (6 tablespoons) and melted or softened coconut oil (2 tablespoons) in a bowl. Once the two ingredients are well mixed, you can add spearmint essential oil (3 drops). After a second mixing, your toothpaste can be stored for up to 3 months. If you want to obtain a very foamy toothpaste, it is also possible to add a tablespoon of SCI.
