In this context, the National Council of the Order of Chartered Accountants has decided to set up the “Allo Impôt” operation.
“Hello Tax is a citizen operation set up more than 10 years ago. Originally, the operation was limited to the Paris region. But faced with the large number of calls, it became national and is managed by the National Council of the Order of Chartered Accountants in partnership with the Order of Chartered Accountants of Île-de-France”, explains Cécile de Saint-Michel, President of the National Council of the Order of Chartered Accountants -accountants, to our Echos colleagues.
“While the pre-filled declaration and the withholding tax have simplified the procedures, many questions remain for taxpayers as evidenced by the 20,000 calls received during the operation last year”, says the Order of Chartered Accountants .
This operation makes it possible to seek the free assistance of a chartered accountant. A telephone platform can be reached at the green number 0 8000 65432, nearly 70 volunteer accountants and tax experts are mobilized. Who can benefit from this help?
“This device is for all taxpayers with questions about their tax return”, explains Cécile de Saint-Michel to our colleagues from Les Echos. The National Council of the Order of Chartered Accountants allows taxpayers to seek the help of a professional accountant free of charge regardless of where they live and their level of income.
“In the regions, chartered accountants provide hotlines and offer taxpayers the opportunity to come and meet them directly. Open hotlines are indicated on the site www.allo-impot.fr”, specifies the Order of Chartered Accountants. How long will this helper be available?
This help is only available for a limited period of time. The Allo Impôt telephone help platform opens from May 22, 2023. It is accessible every working day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nocturnal services are scheduled for May 23 and 25 until 9 p.m. The operation will end on May 26.
Taxpayers living in one of the departments ranging from 1 (Ain) to 19 (Corrèze) will be able to benefit from this help platform before validating their tax sheet, since they have until May 25, 2023 to do so.
