Halle Berry jokes about Ellen DeGeneres saving her from “three marriages”.

Halle Berry jokingly scolded Ellen DeGeneres because she didn’t introduce her to her boyfriend, Van Hunt, sooner.

The Moonfallstar has been seeing the singer since 2020. However, they only recently realized that they were guests on the first season of The Ellen DeGeneres show, just a few months apart in 2004.

Berry spoke out in a new interview with DeGeneres: “We talked about this, actually, he and me, a few days back, when I knew that I was coming to here.

“I said, ‘I was on her first series,’ and he replies, ‘So was I!’ I respond, ‘You mean you could have found me twenty years ago and saved all my misery?’

She said, “How come that Ellen wasn’t arranged?” You could have saved me three marriages.”

Berry was married to David Justice, a baseball player from 1993 to 1997. He was also a singer Eric Benet (2001 to 2005) and Oliver Martinez (2013 to 2016).

Berry revealed last month that Hunt and she had shared a fake wedding picture on Instagram after they consumed “copious amounts” of alcohol.

In a photo shared to Instagram, Hunt and Hunt were seen kissing at an alter in a chapel.

Berry captioned the post with “Well… IT’S Official!” Many fans believed that Berry and her husband were engaged.

Hunt, however, admitted that the entire thing was a prank to celebrate “our own January Fool’s Day” after receiving well wishes by celebrities like Dwayne Johnson, Octavia Spencer and others.
