Grand Canyon Antelopes’ Oscar Frayer dies in Automobile Crash, Only days Later playing in NCAA Championship

Frayer’s older sister, Andrea Moore, along with a third individual in their car were also killed in the accident, the college supported.

According to local police, a California Highway Patrol vehicle was struck from behind by the automobile Frayer was as two officers were helping a flying vehicle on a street near Lodi, California, around 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Frayer’s vehicle struck a tree and became engulfed in flames. The officers were hauled to a nearby hospital using”major injuries,” according to the California Highway Patrol, but both are expected to endure.

Frayer had graduated and received his diploma in communications. He had been set to take part in the college’s commencement ceremony following month.

The school will maintain a”celebration of life” ceremony at GCU Arena on Tuesday to honor Frayer and people from the GCU community that have lost their lives throughout the academic year.
