The “Giraldilla” and the “Gipsy” they are the first vessels registered to participate in the regatta for classic boats and antique organized by the Club de Mar is to be held on August 15 in the Bay of Palma.
The regatta Classic Club de Mar will bring together a large part of the fleet classic after the suspension of numerous events náutico-sporting, among them the regatta Illes Balears Classics, by the pandemic of the coronavirus.
The test will return the name of the Classics Club de Mar, a competition that was held in the club palmesano between 2006 and 2009, and consist of a single regatta that will take a trip around the coast, some 15 to 20 miles.
The Club of Sea notes that the test “will contribute to maintaining the tradition of classic yachting in the Bay of Palma” and the entity nautical expects a “great participation” of classic boats and vintage.
