Funeral of Charlotte Valandrey: the tribute of her partner of Tomorrow belongs to us

The friendship was real between the two actresses. The funeral of actress Charlotte Valandrey took place in the greatest intimacy in Pléneuf-Val André, in the Côtes d’Armor, this Tuesday, July 19. As a reminder, the 53-year-old actress died on July 13 after a second heart transplant. Maud Baecker wanted to be present to pay tribute to her playing partner in the series Tomorrow belongs to us. The actress simply shared a sober but moving image in a story on her Instagram account. We see the image of the funeral wreath on which is inscribed “To our Chacha”. A photo accompanied by a simple “heart” but also by very special music.

The actress indeed accompanied her tribute with the song See you later, a duet that had been recorded in 2021 together Charlotte Valandrey and Marc Lavoine. “When everyone dresses in black, dare to say to him: ‘See you later'”, we hear. A song for the occasion and which allows Maud Baecker to make a nice farewell message in music to honor Charlotte Valandrey’s last challenge. “Music was a new challenge” for her, the lyricist Frédéric Zeitoun told the Parisian about this new career in music.

During the ceremony celebrated at 3 p.m., his daughter Tara Lecaisne also had moving words. “He is the strongest person I know, with the greatest rage to live. Her father Jean-Pierre also said a few words during Charlotte Valandrey’s funeral, as did her sister, Aude, who said: “We will remember the happy days of our childhood in Val-André, with our grandparents. We let us realize today that this era was one of the most carefree and happiest”.

Among those in the business, with the exception of Maud Becker, only producer Dominique Besnehard also came to pay tribute to Charlotte Valandrey. After the funeral, the coffin was transported out of the church to the applause of the crowd who had come to pay homage to the actress, who also included the mayor Pierre-Alexis Blévin, as well as the former city councilor Jean-Yves Lebas, who appointed Charlotte Valandrey as the city’s honorary ambassador. A tribute ceremony to Charlotte Valandrey is also planned in Paris for the month of September.
