Thursday April 13, 2023 marks the twelfth day of mobilization against the pension reform. This new strike day was organized by the inter-union following a meeting with Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne at Matignon. This meeting is described as a “failure” by the unions, according to the retransmission of their speech on the steps of Matignon by France24. Thus, Sophie Binet, new president of the CGT, and the rest of the unions recalled the importance of renewing the strike.

Several sectors have not stopped mobilizing since March 7. Among them are the refineries, blocked for several weeks. The TotalEnergies refinery in Normandy, the largest in France, was notably blocked from the weekend of March 18. But it is not the only one. Indeed, for the new strike of April 13, the TotalEnergies refinery in Donges, in Loire-Atlantique is also mobilized. Discover in our slideshow below the departments where the situation is critical.

While some departments continue to suffer from blockages in refineries, others are seeing their gasoline stocks return to normal. Indeed, in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, for example, no service station is in difficulty. This is also the case in the Gers department. On the other hand, one of the most affected regions is Île-de-France, where 30% of the stations are in partial or total shortage of one of the fuels. Across the metropolitan territory, therefore excluding the DOM-TOMs, but also Corsica, 8.9% of stations are still in difficulty according to Le Figaro. Discover in our slideshow below the departments concerned.

To establish these percentages, the national daily links to Figdata to list the departments and their level of gasoline. To do this, the information communicated by the service stations on prix-carburants.gouv.fr is recorded every day. The figures presented in this slideshow correspond to data established on April 13, 2023 at 9 a.m. Two figures are given including the percentage of stations in partial rupture and that of stations in total rupture in the department.
