(Brussels) Stromae, currently on tour to promote his album Multitude, is forced, “for medical reasons”, to cancel three concerts that were scheduled for this week in eastern France, its producers announced on Wednesday.

This is the concert that the Belgian singer was to give this Wednesday evening at the Zénith de Strasbourg, and those scheduled for Thursday and Friday in Amnéville, specify in a press release the company Auguri Productions (the artist’s turner) and the Mosaert label.

Fans are invited to approach the points of sale of their ticket for a refund.

The 38-year-old from Brussels is one of the French-speaking artists who sells the most music in the world.

It is particularly popular in France, where it shone in February at the Victoires de la Musique awards. “Multitude” was crowned best album there and itself male artist of the year.

After a long break caused by professional exhaustion – when he had chained the concerts for the album of his consecration, Racine Carrée, released in 2013 -, Stromae returned to the stage in 2022.

He is currently touring Europe, with dates scheduled until December 2023. According to the site that lists them, he is due to perform on stage on March 29 and 30 at the Zénith de Nantes.
