Canada fell three places to 48th in the FIFA World Rankings following its disappointing Concacaf Nations League quarter-final loss to Jamaica earlier this month.

The “Reggae Boyz” remained in 55th position in the rankings after winning the home-and-home series against Canada with a 3-2 victory recorded on November 21 in Toronto.

This is the worst ranking for the representatives of the maple leaf, who now find themselves stuck between Greece and Venezuela, since they occupied 53rd place in the world in December 2022.

Argentina, champion of the last World Cup, is still first, ahead of France. Brazil fell two places and are now ranked fifth, after suffering back-to-back losses against Colombia and Argentina, respectively.
