Festival Vue sur la Relève | The next generation in Villeray

Nineteen groups and artists in total will try to get noticed during the event, which takes place from May 4 to 16, mainly in the Villeray district, but also at the Ministry, on Saint-Laurent Boulevard.

The performances will take place at the Maison de la culture Claude-Léveillée, at Patro Villeray (formerly Patro Le Prévost), at De Normanville Park and at the Ministry. Access is free, except at the Ministry.

The spokesperson for Vue sur la Relève 2023 is Laura Niquay, who took part in the event in 2018. Five years later, the Atikamekw singer-songwriter from Wemotaci notably launched a record that appeared on the long list of the Polaris Prize and won the Félix given to the aboriginal artist of the year.
