the legendary guitar of 2016, the deceased US pop star Prince is to be auctioned in California. According to estimates by the auction house Julien’s Auctions in Beverly Hills, the blue Cloud could bring in guitar from 1984 up to 600’000 dollars.
After the notification of the auction house on Wednesday is the so-called “Blue Angel”guitar, one of the favorite instruments of the Grammy-award-winner at the peak of his career in the 80s and 90s. Prince played on the Instrument in the case of large tours, such as “Purple Rain” (1984-1985), “Sign o’ the Times” (1987), or “love sexy”(1988-1989) and in 1991 at the MTV Video Music Awards.

The “Blue Angel” was one of the first four Cloud guitars were made especially for the artist. The first white guitar was several times in different colors repainted. By means of computed tomography and Investigation of experts, the Instrument had been identified as one of the long missing Original guitars, announced Julien’s Auctions.
2017 was auctioned in the auction house a blue-green Cloud guitar from Prince for 700’000 dollars, significantly higher than the initially scheduled estimate of 80’000 dollars.
