Former LSU tight conclusion Arik Gilbert declared on societal media on Sunday that he is moving to Florida.

Gilbert has been the No. 6 ranked prospect in the 2020 course from Marietta, Georgia, also originally entered the transport portal on Jan. 5.

He was fourth in receiving yards for LSU last year with 368 yards and 2 touchdowns on 35 receptions in eight matches. Gilbert abruptly chosen from this year on Dec. 9, also coach Ed Orgeron said in the time he anticipated Gilbert to reunite in 2021.

Gilbert provides the Gators another superb pass-catching alternative at tight end. Kyle Pitts, who’s entering the NFL draft, was next on the team in receiving yards this year with 770 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Florida has bulked up its roster to get 2021 throughout the transfer portal site with Gilbert, in addition to running Demarkcus Bowman, that moved from Clemson and has been the No. 23 ranked recruit in the 2020 course.
