His face marked millions of viewers in the PAF. At the time, Évelyne Leclercq was one of television’s leading announcers, making her debut at just 17 in 1968 on the ORTF regional channel in Nice. In the mid-1970s, she continued her career on TV by becoming a presenter on TF1, from its creation in January 1975.

On the strength of her popularity, Évelyne Leclercq co-hosted several television programs such as Eurovision with Yves Lecoq and Patrick Sébastien in 1977. Then, in the 1980s, she was one of the leading figures in the cult game Turn rides, which she presented on the first channel (from 1985 to 1993) with Simone Garnier, Fabienne Égal and Charly Oleg. Alongside her role as a radio member in Les Grosses Têtes, she also presented the summer game Intervilles, along with Guy Lux and Denise Fabre.

Évelyne Leclercq is nonetheless a real jack-of-all-trades. Besides television, she gave voice to music by releasing three albums (between 1981 and 2015). She made her theater debut in 1987 in an adaptation of Dom Juan and played roles on stage until recently in 2020 in Les 3 Glorieuses with Danielle Gilbert and Sophie Darel. Fictional actress for cinema (La guerre des miss, Elle s’en va…) and television (Commissaire Moulin, Le Débarquement, L’Hôtel du libre-TRAde…), she hosted a clairvoyance program in 2012.

After the end of her hosting career, Évelyne Leclercq did not disappear from the screens.
