Comedian and host Ève Côté will be at the helm of a new game show next fall on Noovo. The concept of More or Less Miserable? Two teams attempt to rank embarrassing stories that people have actually experienced on the “misery scale”.
Which situation is more disturbing: being struck by lightning three times, sending a naughty photo to your mother or being attacked by an animal in a zoo? Human behavior experts evaluated these events and many others to assign them a score from 0 to 100 based on three elements: physical pain experienced, emotional shock and long-term psychological impact.
In the game show, two teams consisting of a contestant and a star will compete to predict which score was given to each situation. At stake ? A cash prize of up to $3,000.
