Energy savings: the 5 conditions to be met to benefit from the TotalÉnergies discount

Consume better and consume less. Faced with the energy crisis that awaits France this winter, everyone is using their own trick to save energy. To ensure continuity of electricity supply but also to relieve their customers, some suppliers have put in place commercial offers and other nudges.

Starting with TotalEnergies, which now offers a discount of 30 to 120 euros on your bill depending on the savings made by households. According to Merci pour l’Info, formerly Dossier Familial, this operation called “Bonus conso” will take place between November 1, 2022 and March 31, 2023 and will reward households that have saved energy compared to previous winters.

The discount promises to be proportional to the savings made, as follows: 30 euros for 5% savings made, 36 euros for 6% savings made… And so on within the limit of 120 euros for 20% savings. savings made. This amount will be deducted from your bill in April 2023. How do you know if you are one of the 3 million customers concerned? Check that you meet all the requirements in our slideshow below.

TotalEnergies is not the only supplier giving its customers a helping hand. From mid-October and until March 2023, Engie will launch the “My Engie bonus” challenge to voluntary customers: it will be a question of “reducing their electricity consumption by X% compared to their forecast consumption, based on the customer’s consumption on the same day of the last three previous weeks (D-7, D-14 and D-21)”. This percentage will be between 10 and 20% depending on weather variations and network needs. Affected customers could earn 5 to 10 euros per challenge.
