(Calgary) Enbridge announced Monday the appointment of Patrick Murray as Chief Financial Officer, effective July 1.
He will succeed Vern Yu, who is leaving the company to become president and CEO of AltaGas.
Mr. Murray is currently Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at Enbridge.
He joined the company in 1997 and held several positions of increasing responsibility within the finance group. He was appointed to his current position in 2020.
Mr. Yu will succeed Randy Crawford at AltaGas. The latter indicated at the end of last year that he would retire once a successor was in place.
Prior to being named Chief Financial Officer and President of New Energy Technologies at Enbridge, Mr. Yu served as President of Liquids Pipelines and Director of Development at the pipeline operator.
