At least, that is the wish of the minister of Work and Social Economy, Yolanda Diaz, that has marked this term of the social partners in the tripartite commission to close a deal that extends the Temporary layoff of Employment beyond 30 June. “Today has met the tripartite commission and I take this opportunity to cheer for you as soon as possible, before the Tuesday that is coming, there is an agreement prosperous for the country”, said the minister during his intervention before the Commission for the Reconstruction of Social and Economic in the Congress of Deputies.
Those expectations, however, are quite different on the other side of the table. The appeal of Diaz has been met with a clear message from the president of the entrepreneurs, Antonio Garamendi , which has recriminat that the Government has not yet brought on the table a proposal for an agreement and that, therefore, it is difficult for the agreement in this term. “Our roles are, the unions are, but the Government, no”, said the leader of the CEOE, which has intervened in the commission to contimuación of the minister.
The negotiation is still hard and complex, as it was the first of the agreements reached in the social dialogue. The Government is inclined to extend these records to the 30 September , both by force majeure, such as for economic reasons, technical, organizational, and production. The entrepreneurs, however, have demanded repeatedly for a longer period, at least up to December , as it would provide more stability to the game board of the entrepreneurs. Garamendi reiterated that this longer the term and the fact of “giving them greater adaptability would increase the necessary legal security and certainty to employers and workers”.

Garamendi recalled that have already been lost 133.000 companies, a point which has influenced also the president of Cepyme, Gerardo Cuerva , then remember “behind every company there are individuals, families, and human beings” .
