(Montreal) A network outage affects Desjardins Group call centers and certain ATMs on Tuesday morning. The financial cooperative says the outage was “gradually” being resolved.

The financial institution indicated, earlier Tuesday, on its Facebook page that it was experiencing “a problem beyond (its) control” without specifying the cause.

“Our call centers are not able to take calls and some of our ATMs do not work,” said a Desjardins spokesperson, Jean-Benoît Turcotti, by email.

The situation is on the way to recovery, according to Desjardins Movement. “As of 9:30 a.m., the network outage that has been affecting us since this morning is gradually disappearing and the ATMs will be working shortly. »

Card payments in the various businesses still work, as do the cooperative’s online services. Desjardins also invites its members and clients to turn to the AccèsD internet and mobile platform.

Turcotti said the “teams are actively working to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.”
