Giant Flying Spiders Spotted in New York
The Joro spider, originally from East Asia, was first sighted in the United States in 2014. Since then, the species has reproduced and is at risk of invading the states of New Jersey and New York. While harmless to humans and pets, it could potentially have a negative impact on the ecosystem.
