Canadian cyclist Derek Gee showcased his climbing abilities once again at the Critérium du Dauphiné, finishing in an impressive fifth place on stage 7 and moving into third place overall. With one stage remaining, Gee finds himself just 1:13 minutes behind the race leader, Primoz Roglič.

As Gee gears up for the final stage, he holds a 43-second lead over fourth-placed Aleksandr Vlasov and sits just 11 seconds behind the second-placed rider. With another day of intense climbing ahead, Gee is determined to give his all and push for a podium finish at the prestigious event.
