Fans of the mythical Harry Potter saga are in mourning. As revealed by the SkyNews media, Scottish comedian Robbie Coltrane died this Friday, October 14, 2022 at the age of 72. He had made himself known to the general public from 2001 by interpreting the character of Rubeus Hagrid, in the famous saga Harry Potter.

The actor’s career on the big screen began in 1980 by playing in La Mort en direct by Bertrand Tavernier. Over the course of his career, his fans have been able to find him in many films, more different from each other, including Flash Gordon, Mona Lisa, A bottle in the sea or even on the small screen in Cracker in which he played the role of psychologist Eddie Fitzgerald. For this fiction, Robbie Coltrane had received numerous awards. He won the British Academy Television Award for Best Actor in 1994, 1995 and 1996.

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Harry Potter saga, many actors had participated in a documentary including Robbie Coltrane.
