The great crossover of professional dancers participating in the TF1 program continues. It is all in poetry that the dancer Anthony Colette revealed that he will tread the floor of the twelfth season of Dancing with the stars. “In these sunny days, I must warn you that for better and not for worse, I will soon be dancing… Late at night, on a rumba, with a star who is more in awe, we will try again in this season to bring you joy.”, he wrote on August 5, 2022 on Instagram. The 27-year-old dancer has participated in the show since its debut in 2017. It remains to be seen who is the “star in dread” mentioned in his short poem.

The announcement is something to delight viewers, shortly after the cancellation of the participation of Marie Denigot. The day before, the 27-year-old dancer expressed her regrets on the social network: “Everything was ready for me to come back to the show after 2 seasons of break, everything was in place with regard to my dance school and my competitions […] Unfortunately, the celebrity with whom I was to pair up, who lives abroad, could not arrive in France due to major family problems, a few days before the start of training. One more departure in addition to those of Maxime Dereymez, Denitsa Ikonomova, Christian Millette, Joël Luzolo and Coralie Licata. The husband of the latter, Christophe Licata, on the other hand, will indeed be on the boards.

The production has already confirmed the presence of several participants: dancer and singer Billy Crawford, comedian Florent Peyre, influencer Léa Elui, actor Théo Fernandez and former judo champion and politician David Douillet. Dancers Jordan Mouillerac and Katrina Pratchett will also be there.
