Thursday, November 10, Louis Boyard was invited to the Touche set not at my post. The LFI deputy knows the program well since he was once a columnist. The latter came to discuss the fate of the 234 migrants rescued at sea by the humanitarian ship Ocean Viking. While accusing the owner of the channel, Vincent Bolloré, “of impoverishing Africa”, Cyril Hanouna violently replied and insulted the elected representative of Val-de-Marne, accusing him of wanting to glow”. “You’re a shit”, dropped the host after having treated the deputy of “moron”, “tocard” or even “jester”. Before leaving the set, the chosen one responded by accusing Cyril Hanouna of “raising racism in France”.

The day after the sequence, Mathilde Panot, president of the LFI group in the National Assembly, spoke on Twitter of a “serious” event. “Nobody says ‘shut your mouth’ to a deputy from my group. Not even Cyril Hanouna and the lackeys of Bolloré”. The latter announces that it has seized Arcom (French public authority for the regulation of audiovisual and digital communication).

On Twitter, Louis Boyard calls for the creation of a parliamentary commission of inquiry into “Vincent Bolloré’s interference in the media he owns”. This Monday, November 14, the elected official announces that he will file a complaint against Cyril Hanouna for “public insults”.

In the process, Cyril Hanouna indicated on the TPMP set that he would sue Louis Boyard for defamation. “Know that we too will take action. And we will attack for what he may have said, defamation, and all the defamation he had against us,” said the host, who however admitted to regretting having let out insults during his altercation with his former columnist.

Thursday, February 27, 2020, the program Balance ton post was devoted to the coronavirus. Cyril Hanouna asked his columnists and his guests whether to be afraid of the Covid-19. Invited to the set, Nicolas Dupont-Aignan launched into a political tirade on the state of French hospitals instead of answering the host’s question. The latter, annoyed, asks his guests not to talk about politics.

Ignoring the warning, the president of Debout la France continues to present his ideas. “You are irrelevant. You are playing politics!” resumes Cyril Hanouna. “If you came here to prepare for 2022, it’s not worth it. Stop! I’m asking you a question, you’re going on completely irrelevant stuff, it’s unbearable,” he continues.

Thursday, February 11, 2021, Jean-Luc Mélenchon was invited for the first time in Balance your post. The leader of rebellious France notably came to discuss with the columnists of the show on several subjects including the law on separatism, Emmanuel Macron’s political strategy in the face of Covid-19, the vaccination campaign or police violence. The deputy, who usually never talks about his private life, mentioned his “companion” in spite of himself, which did not fail to arouse the curiosity of Cyril Hanouna.

“You said ‘my companion’. This is the first time you’ve spoken about it…”, he slipped. “Ah Bon? Bah I am single, in principle”, tried to rectify Jean-Luc Mélenchon. But faced with the insistence of the host, his guest got annoyed. “I don’t deliver anything, my life is my life. Leave me alone! It says ‘single’, I’m single. I don’t want anyone to interfere with my private life! Ok And when I protest, I am told that I am a public man and that I have no right to a private life. I am a public man and who has a private life. Leave me alone! is he carried away. Cyril Hanouna finally defuses the bomb by quickly changing the subject.
