(Columbus) Columbus Blue Jackets forward Patrik Laine will miss two to four weeks of play with a pulled triceps suffered during practice.

It’s another blow for the Blue Jackets, who have the NHL’s worst record this season after battling multiple injuries.

The Blue Jackets announced Laine’s injury ahead of Friday’s home game against the New York Islanders.

The Columbus squad has lost 454 games to injury this season, one of the highest totals. She has a record of 22-41-7.

Laine missed two different game streaks during the fall, with an elbow and ankle injury. The 24-year-old Finn is the Blue Jackets’ second-leading scorer with 52 points in 55 games.

The Blue Jackets lost top defenseman Zach Werenski in November. Forward Sean Kuraly recently ended up on the injured list and will miss the rest of the season.
