The australian company CIMIC, a subsidiary of the ACS group, has announced this Monday that said number of contracts valued at more than 200 million australian dollars (121.5 million euros) in the country’s mining industry.

The contracts of EMC, a subsidiary of CIMIC, are for p rovide services to mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation, among others, to the mining companies Rio Tinto and BHP in various operations in Western Australia that will employ more than 250 people.

The director general of EMC, Jason Spears, said in a statement of CIMIC “these new contracts and contract extensions highlight the capabilities of EMC in the mining sector and extend our strong relationships with our customers.”
