Chloé Nabédian moved to tears: why does she stop the weather on France 2?

“I will close this chapter of 10 years of presentation to the weather forecast by announcing that snow is still likely to fall on Sunday”. After a decade on the air, Chloé Nabédian surprised the public by indicating her departure during her last weather report on France 2. Farewell for the 37-year-old journalist who previously officiated on The weather channel and CNews.

“Today is finally my very last weather report that I have had the honor of presenting to you for the past six years,” said Chloé Nabédian, addressing the camera. “And, I really wanted to thank you because thanks to you, this weather diary has been able to grow much more in recent years. We have been able to decipher, discuss together what was happening in this weather which is changing with ongoing climate change”.

It is not without emotion that the journalist and author committed to the climate revealed the cause of her departure. “And it is for this reason in particular that I decided to leave my functions here in order to be able to develop other projects around the climate and also provide decryption on this subject”. A position that Chloé Nabédian leaves with regret, having a special thought for her team.

From the heads of the set to the directors, without forgetting the cameramen, sound engineers, video technicians, forecasters and colleagues from the weather service… A team with which the host “has had a lot of adventures”. “I wanted to hug my beloved head of department, Nathalie, very much, who simply gave me the chance of a lifetime”. Before concluding, with tears in his eyes, with his last words for the viewers. “I wish you a very, very nice end of year celebrations. I wish you to realize your dreams, I will also try to go and realize mine. Very nice evening to you”.

A moving farewell that presenter Chloé Nabédian also relayed to her fans on social networks. “Thank you for your trust which gives me wings,” she added on Twitter to Internet users. Many of them sent him messages of support after the announcement of his departure. “Good luck in all your projects!”, “Bravo Chloé!”, “Thank you Chloé Nabédian for the quality of your information and bulletins, all my best wishes for the realization of your projects. See you soon on the screens? Happy Holidays end of the year“, can we read in the comments. For those who want to continue following the presenter, she still hosts the show A la vie, à la terre on TV5 Monde.
