Cambridge Analytica-data scandal: British data-protection authorities to impose maximum penalty against Facebook

The UK data protection authority Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) imposed in the scandal of the data analysis firm Cambridge Analytica, the maximum possible fine against Facebook. A total of 500,000 pounds (together 565,000 Euro) has to pay for the online network. Facebook have admitted to a “serious infringement” against the law, said the ICO.
