Get informed to better anticipate. Each December, the Family Allowance Fund (CAF) reveals its calendar for the following year, thus allowing beneficiaries to organize themselves in the event of payment deferral. As a reminder, the payment of CAF benefits is made on the 5th of each month, for the previous month: this Thursday, January 5, 2023, you will thus receive the benefits of December 2022.

Please note, this date of the 5th is not engraved in stone and is subject to change depending on the month. On its website, the organization specifies: “If the 5th falls on a Saturday or Sunday, CAF makes the payment on the nearest working day (excluding weekends and public holidays). Do not panic therefore in February, March and November if the transfer is not effective on your bank account on the 5th of the month. This delay will have to be anticipated, especially if you have set up automatic transfers. Please note, the CAF website specifies that “the date of payment to your bank account may vary depending on your bank”, so the delays could even be a little longer.

For the other eight months of 2023, here are the days of the week you will receive your benefits.
