New Germany-chief of the consulting firm Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is Tauber in the coming spring of Matthias. The 40-year-old engineer succeeds Carsten Scratch, has to give up his Post as scheduled, after six years. Tauber is working since 2003 for BCG, to the Partner he was in 2012 appointed. His career as a consultant, he started in Vienna BCG office after studying at the University of Vienna and a MBA from the University of Insead in Fontainebleau and Singapore. Later on, Tauber moved to Munich, where he will in future conduct the business in Germany, the strategy consultancy.

His appointment to the Germany boss does not come to some surprising, because Tauber was previously a member of the six-member Board of management in Germany. However, no outsider was Tauber in the race for the Scratch-succession. He leads since 2014 the sector of process industry practice group industrial goods, sales of which doubled under his leadership within two years, almost. A native of the South Tyrolean took care of so far, especially the advice of companies from the chemical, construction material and metal industries. Tauber’s appointment was preceded by no vote.
