Borrower insurance: in which cases should you turn to the competition?

From this Thursday, September 1, the conditions for changing borrower insurance will become considerably more flexible. French people who repay a mortgage will now be able to turn to the competition at any time, reports BFMTV. Until now, they could only do this during the first year of the loan and then only once a year, on the anniversary date of the contract.

Good news for borrowers since insurance represents a significant part of the cost of credit. Changing insurers would thus make it possible to achieve an average saving of 10,000 euros. But the operation is not always recommended by specialists. It all depends on your situation and your profile. BFMTV asked the loan insurance comparator Magnolia.fr to find out under what circumstances changing insurance is worth it. Here are the 4 criteria to take into account in priority.
