From this Thursday, September 1, the conditions for changing borrower insurance will become considerably more flexible. French people who repay a mortgage will now be able to turn to the competition at any time, reports BFMTV. Until now, they could only do this during the first year of the loan and then only once a year, on the anniversary date of the contract.
Good news for borrowers since insurance represents a significant part of the cost of credit. Changing insurers would thus make it possible to achieve an average saving of 10,000 euros.
