(Montreal) Bianca Andreescu will miss the Australian Open next month, dealing with a lingering back injury.

Queen of Flushing Meadows in 2019, she has suffered from a stress fracture in her back since the summer.

His last tournament was the National Bank Open in Montreal in August.

This year, Andreescu missed the New York tournament and was unable to join the Canadian team that won the Billie Jean King Cup in Spain in November.

Andreescu is ranked 96th at the WTA.
