(Paris) German Aexander Zverev gained a place in the ATP rankings published Monday by taking 6th position ahead of Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas.

At the start of the season, Australian Alex de Minaur moved up two places and entered the top 10, the best ranking of his career at 24 years old.

With Australia, he reached the semi-finals of the United Cup last week, a mixed team competition to prepare for the Australian Open, and won by Zverev’s Germany.

Having fallen to 672nd place in the ATP, the Spaniard Rafael Nadal, who made his comeback in Brisbane last week after almost a year marred by injuries, went back to a still anecdotal 451st place (221).

Beaten in the third round in Australia, he however had to withdraw from Melbourne, the first Grand Slam tournament of the season, because of a muscle microtear.

The Chilean Nicolas Jarry, 18th in the world (1), obtains the best ranking of his career.
